The Community Journal Project:

What began as a personal dedication to my father, in 2010, at Lake Johnson in Raleigh NC, has turned out to be an amazing breeding ground for creativity and community. Listen to my interview about the The Journal at Lake Johnson on Dick Gordon's 'The Story' on National Public Radio and 'Like Us' on Facebook. As we expand the project throughout Raleigh, and encourage as well as link existing community journals worldwide, we welcome donations through the Conduit webpage to help support the purchase of journals and mailboxes.

Country Club Homes:

In 1939, a neighborhood which initially carved right through city/county lines, served as a temporary nesting space for couples waiting for their homes to be built during a housing crisis in Raleigh, NC. Today it still stands on its original 24 acres of land which proudly nurture close to a hundred majestic 80 year old pin oak trees. But this historic community's future is uncertain, as the property has been purchased by developers. Flanked between a slow economy and compassion for the story of Country Club Homes is one that I am in the process of documenting. I welcome any historic photography to be added to this project. Photos of your grandma, you as a child, your mom when she rode her bike through CCH. Do you have any?? Contact me. You will get photo credit.
