In June 2012, I will attend the European Graduate School program for a Masters of Expressive Arts in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding in Saas-Fee, Switzerland.
This program was developed to foster peace and tolerance in communities, teams and states through interactive and expressive use of the arts.
It is a three year correspondence program targeting peace workers, art therapists, professional artists, mediators, educators, coaches and humanitarian workers. Summers are spent in intensive study in Saas-Fee, while the remainder of the year requires hands-on internships and research. Collaborative projects include working with the UN and other international and local organizations. The rewards, experience and contacts developed from this program will undoubtably be life changing for me and f or those I help foster.
After years of searching for a program that weaves the best of my artistic abilities and creative skills with my passions to provide spaces for social change, I believe I have found it!
